Jingle Bell Rock is geïnspireerd op het bekende Jingle Bells en werd geschreven
door Joseph Carleton Beal (1900-1967) en James Ross Boothe (1917-1976).
Het werdt voor het eerst gezongen door Bobby Helms in 1957.
De versie van Brenda Lee werd erg populair in 1964 en 1967.
